Piera Waibel

Piera Waibel has a Masters Degree in Economics of the University of Zurich, Switzerland. In her studies, she focussed on sustainable economic and business policy, stakeholder management, performance management, environmental economics, globalization and international relations. Piera Waibel was involved in different student initiatives on sustainability and ethics. Currently, she’s continuing with a PhD thesis in sustainable supply chain management.

Prior to her joining BSD, she worked as senior ethics analyst for investors and was responsible for the first sustainability report of SIG, an international provider of aseptic beverage cartons and packaging equipment for value added beverages and liquid food. She also gained experience in public relations and marketing consulting.

At BSD Zurich, Piera Waibel is responsible for sustainability communications.
