Sustainability for Small and Medium Enterprises: Ecuador

In partnership with Swisscontact and local Business Service Providers, BSD developed and implemented a methodology for Ecuadorian SMEs to integrate sustainability into their management systems.

The program includes workshops to raise awareness, capacity building for local consultants and SME managers, performance assessment in sustainability, creation of action plans, accompanied implementation and content for sustainability reports.

A monitoring system using pro-poor growth indicators has been created for the program.
